Amy & Dan were married on a beautiful Saturday in August. It was the perfect summer wedding. They had their first look and ceremony at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Ijamsville, MD and their reception at the gorgeous Crossvines in Poolesville, MD.
Amy & Dan met during the pandemic. Their first date was one out of a movie as they stayed past closing time chatting and time flew by without notice. They had to tackle their relationship long distance as Amy went back to finish up school. But, they made the best of all of their virtual dates playing board games, watching movies, cooking, and my persinal favorite – Bob Ross Painting.
Fast forward to graduating and buying a house together – Dan proposed on their front porch. SO ROMANTIC, am I right?!
Their wedding was nothing short of perfect. With Amy as a Veterinarian and Dan a Pharmacist, they have a bond over their love of science. They took that and ran with if for their wedding decor and their details absolutely blew me away. It was such a fun and unique theme for a wedding and I loved that it was something so true to them. Their day consisted of a beautiful Catholic Ceremony followed by a mid-aisle dip, amazing weather for a stroll around the impecable Crossvines property, a packed dance floor celebrating the newlyweds, and much much more!
