The Couple

Ashley and Steve went to high school together, and despite having classes together, they never really knew one another. Fast forward a few years when their paths crossed again, they had instant chemistry, started dating, and not long after moved in together. When they tied the knot, they had been dating for six, amazing years! While in one of the largest Christmas towns, they found a quiet area by the trees to take a photo; Steve got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, and here we are now!

The Wedding

Ashley and Steve were married at Circle D Farm in Woodbine, Maryland. They had a rustic wedding theme with accents of rose gold and sparkles, which I absolutely loved! (I am a sucker for rose gold). It was a hot one outside, and the forecast was calling for rain at the time of their ceremony. Ashley held out as long as she could before having to make the call to move it inside. The groomsmen, Bridesman, and Family helped to quickly move all the ceremony decor into the reception hall, this included the large handmade wooden arbor( I have no idea how they were able to fit this inside, they definitely worked some magic). Guests hit the dance floor during the reception during which we also enjoyed some Frozen karaoke from the cutest little flower girl. Cake cutting was nothing short of amazing when Steve warned Ashley not to even think about smashing cake in his face. This warning came as he was deriving his plan to smash it in hers instead, she caught on quick and shoved her hand full of cake and icing into him leaving him unable to do the same. The Colson’s ended their wedding day by passing through the sparkling love of all their friends and family members before driving off as Mr. and Mrs.
