Where do I even start?!
This wedding is near and dear to me, as Jill has always been the little sister I never had. I have known Jill since…..well, since she was born. We lived across the street from each other for 21 years.Years that were filled with swimming in the pool, cook outs, bonfires, birthday parties, a few broken limbs, sleepovers, bus stop walks, many ‘firsts’, and SO MUCH MORE. So, of course it meant the world to me to be able to photograph the very best day of Jill and George’s life!
The Couple
As her dad put it, Jill and George are the ‘oldest newlyweds, as it seems they have been married all of this time already’. Jill & George met and started dating in the 6th grade. Their relationship held strong through middle school, high school, and college. They conquered every obstacle together, supported each other through all the hard times, and laughed together through all the good times. It as always clear that Jill and George were meant to be together – soul mates. They were even voted as ‘most likely to stay together’ in their senior superlatives.
The Wedding
Jill and George were married at Pond View Farms. Hands down one of my favorite venues ever! If you have never seen it before you’re about to awe it it’s beauty below. You will also Awe in Jill’s beauty, she was absolutely flawless on the wedding day – a princess for sure. George was nice and dapper as well in his suit and suspenders (but honestly, who doesn’t love a man in suspenders?!)
Their wedding day overflowed with love and laughter. Jill and her girls popped some champagne before getting dressed up – instead of the champagne shooting out, the bottle shot backwards out of her hands not only was it hilarious but it was something I had never seen happen before, lol! Luke (Jill’s brother) performed a few card tricks for the guys as they awaited the start of the ceremony. And wait til you see George holding back tears as he watched Jill walk down the aisle, it was so sweet. Once they tied the knot, it was time to party, and this crowd tore the dance floor up! Jill and George snuck outside with me for a few dusk, and night photos with the beautiful moon reflecting off the pond. Jill and George couldn’t have special ordered a more perfect day to be married. Congratulations to the newlyweds – Mr. and Mrs. Kraft!
