Sam & Andrew
It all started at a bar… Sam and Andrew met downtown at Claddagh’s. Sam saw him from across the bar and approached him, he bought her a beer and they started chatting away. It seems that many people in their lives recall this as well, even those who were not there. For they heard about the encounter and as the saying goes ‘the rest was history’. Throughout the toasts at the wedding, I learned that their connection was just about instant. It didn’t take long after (Sam and Andrew met) that their friends and family knew that if one of them was coming, the other would be joining as well. Or as the best man put it “Andrew would have Sam in tow”; he also mentioned that it quickly began to feel that “something was missing if the other was not there”, not only of course to Sam and Andrew, but to those around them as well.
The Wedding
Sam and Andrew had an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding day at Boulder Ridge atop Liberty Mountain Resort. After spending the morning primping and prepping (and maybe taking a shot or two), Sam shared the sweetest first look with her dad. The look on his face says it all — and she couldn’t get enough of the way he looked all dressed up. As they were sharing that special moment, Andrew and his groomsmen were sharing laughs while trying to make the best of their ‘formal’ photos. I included a few bloopers so everyone could share a laugh at their fun and spirited take on this part of the day. Lets talk about those details…. her flowers were SO amazing!!! I couldn’t stop looking at the unique spin the girls had on the traditional bouquet. All of the colors in the centerpieces made for a great eye catcher as well. And as you will see, I had so much fun photographing their rings. I love when I have different diamond shapes to play with. One of my favorite moments captured from their day, was the moment just before their first kiss. I often am snapping photos during this time as I am anticipating the kiss anyways — but that split second before doesn’t always turn out as perfect as this one did. Sam had the biggest smile as she leaned in to seal their love and vows with a kiss. It is moments like those, the love filled moments that I get to capture — that I love so much about what I do.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham!!!

That was the best photography of a wedding I ever saw. I was unable to be there, but I felt I saw the best of the whole affair! Thank you for all you presented! You are very talented!
