Hunter and I met our freshman year of high school (2010) and started dating a week later. We have been together ever since! We are celebrating our decade anniversary by getting married in 2020.
Hunter proposed to me by setting up what I thought was a styled shoot. He hired a mutual friend of ours, Samantha Matthews w/ Sweet Bliss Photography, and she reached out to me to supply flowers for her styled shoot. Little did I know that I was going to be the one in front of the camera! When I showed up, I quickly realized there were no models in sight and as soon as I saw Hunter there it clicked what was happening.
Despite all of the crazy changes they had to make to their 2020 wedding, Roni and Hunter were certain they were going to be married this year as it was their 10 year anniversary. They were married at The Liriodendron Mansion on the most beautiful December day they could have had. It wasn’t even that cold out! Roni, who is a florist, married into the Rose family, arranged all of her own flowers(which included roses of course) and even planned a rose ceremony to happen after their vows. How fun!? Roni & Hunter had Furever & Fur Always bring their fur babies to the wedding for a few portraits and included them in details throughout the day including Hunter’s socks as well as the names of their cocktails. After dinner, their family and friends danced the night away and sent them off with a wave of glow sticks. I was so honored that as a fellow wedding vendor, Roni and Hunter chose me to capture their day.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Rose!
